CEO/FOUNDER

Valencia Bosby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois before relocating to Atlanta in December 2016. She has been married for 13 years and is the proud mother of four amazing children—two boys and two girls. A strong believer in God, Valencia leads her life with faith, purpose, and service in everything she does.

Valencia holds an associate degree in Child Development and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. Her passion for children and families began early she started working in childcare at the age of 16 and has served in multiple roles including assistant teacher, lead teacher, supervisor, and eventually director. Today, she continues her commitment to education and youth as a co-teacher for students with disabilities and as the Athletic Director at her school.

While living in Chicago, Valencia experienced the power of a true village a community of women who supported her deeply as she raised her children. After moving to Atlanta, she realized something was missing: that same support system. During her pregnancy and postpartum journey with her third youngest child, Valencia faced emotional and physical challenges that made her long for a space where mothers could openly share, connect, and lean on each other.

In that difficult season, she prayed and fasted, seeking God’s direction about creating a space for like-minded mothers—women who needed a safe, uplifting environment to talk, heal, and grow. Through that prayer, Motherhood of Atlanta (MOA) was born.

Valencia created this organization because she knows firsthand that parenting is not easy, and no mother should feel isolated or unsupported. She believes every woman deserves a community that understands her struggles, celebrates her wins, and stands beside her through every season of motherhood.

She designed this motherhood club specifically with you in mind a place where women can connect, feel seen, feel heard, and thrive together.
